Group class for fretted-string instruments. A song based learning class, members will learn to play classic hits, and build confidence in music in a group setting.
This class is recommended for the experienced beginner, who can play a few notes and chords, however all are welcome.
This program allows children, ages 3-6, to explore sound, instruments, music ideas and terms, different musical genres, styles, and influential figures in music. Through repetition, storytelling, songs, and improvisation, children can explore music in a safe and positive environment. And – children will also have the opportunity to explore instrument making!
Youth ages 9-14 learn to play the recorder in a fun, and engaging group environment.
A choir ensemble designed for ages 6-10 years old. This ensemble allows children the opportunity to harness their personal instrument with a skilled professional in a positive, and safe environment. Children will explore their voice and learn basic music skills while having fun in a group!
This program is an introduction to guitar. Students learn how to play notes, chords, and scales, learn strumming patterns and techniques, learn to read both notation and tablature, and how to play songs or excerpts of songs.
