Children’s Group Classes

Explore musical instruments with our Music Exploration classes, or sing your heart out in the Academy Youth Choir. Strum along with our group Guitar and Ukulele classes, or keep the beat going with the group Djembe class.

Your child too can learn music.

Adult Group Classes

There are group classes for students of all ages. Adult group classes are available for Guitar, Ukulele, and Djembe.

Wire Choir

Group class for fretted-string instruments. A song based learning class, members will learn to play classic hits, and build confidence in music in a group setting.
This class is recommended for the experienced beginner, who can play a few notes and chords, however all are welcome.
Music Exploration - Kinder

This program allows children, ages 3-6, to explore sound, instruments, music ideas and terms, different musical genres, styles, and influential figures in music. Through repetition, storytelling, songs, and improvisation, children can explore music in a safe and positive environment. And – children will also have the opportunity to explore instrument making!
Group Recorder

Youth ages 9-14 learn to play the recorder in a fun, and engaging group environment.
Academy Youth Choir

A choir ensemble designed for ages 6-10 years old. This ensemble allows children the opportunity to harness their personal instrument with a skilled professional in a positive, and safe environment. Children will explore their voice and learn basic music skills while having fun in a group!
Group Guitar

This program is an introduction to guitar. Students learn how to play notes, chords, and scales, learn strumming patterns and techniques, learn to read both notation and tablature, and how to play songs or excerpts of songs.
Children and adult classes available.
Music Exploration - Parents & Tots

This program is designed to expose sounds, instruments, and basic musical ideas to children 9 months to 2 years old. Through repetition, songs, and storytelling-based learning, children will have the opportunity to be introduced to music at an early age.
Group Ukulele

This program is an introduction to ukulele. Students learn how to play notes, chords, and scales, learn strumming patterns and techniques, learn to read both notation and tablature, and how to play songs or excerpts of songs.
