This program is an introduction to guitar. Students learn how to play notes, chords, and scales, learn strumming patterns and techniques, learn to read both notation and tablature, and how to play songs or excerpts of songs.

This program allows children, ages 3-6, to explore sound, instruments, music ideas and terms, different musical genres, styles, and influential figures in music. Through repetition, storytelling, songs, and improvisation, children can explore music in a safe and positive environment. And – children will also have the opportunity to explore instrument making!
Participants will be given an introduction to the Djembe, including some interesting facts about the cultural significance of the drum and its role in traditional ceremonies. The instructor will introduce basic techniques & hand positions using simple, repetitive rhythms, and call-and-response techniques. This class is excellent for creative exploration with improvisation and storytelling.

A choir ensemble designed for ages 6-10 years old. This ensemble allows children the opportunity to harness their personal instrument with a skilled professional in a positive, and safe environment. Children will explore their voice and learn basic music skills while having fun in a group!

This program is designed to expose sounds, instruments, and basic musical ideas to children 9 months to 2 years old. Through repetition, songs, and storytelling-based learning, children will have the opportunity to be introduced to music at an early age.
